Mentoring New Pastors

When I first became a pastor (during my Freshman year in college) I was blessed.  My father, grandfather, and great-grandfather had all been pastors.  I grew up listening to the narratives and observing close up.  Through the years, other pastors, professors, and workshop leaders nurtured and shaped me profoundly.  Various authors have had no small part in enriching my knowledge and ability.

During the second half of my ministry, I have reflected and written on topics that may be of help to other new pastors.  Times are changing, and I am old school, so some of what I have written may seen quaint.  But the following links will give the reader access to some of my essays, workshops, and stories.
