Sullivan UMC—J. Michael Smith

Greetings from Peoria, where I am at Annual Conference for today, tomorrow, and Saturday.  

Catching up on church news:

• Request for prayer for Damon Moody, brother of Christine Grohler. Damon has experienced the regrowth of a benign brain tumor, which must be removed.  He will have surgery at Carle on Monday.
• We have a collection box for the next Honduras mission trip.  Both Bruce and Mary Ann will be going on it.  It will be a student/dental trip.  They need dental floss, electric tooth brushes (for special needs individuals) and wash clothes.  
• Vacation Bible School will begin June 13 (not this coming Saturday.)  Our volunteers just happened to be available the last three Saturdays in June—not the first.
• The elevator is fixed!
• The parsonage is starting to look very good.  Fresh paint, yard work, cleaning, fix-ups here and there…  Pastor Wiggs and family will start to move in the first of next week.
• We are in the process of transferring over to a new email system and a new website.  The goal is to have both up and running by next week.  IT IS CRUCIAL WE HAVE UPDATED CONTACT INFORMATION FOR EVERYONE.  As an extra layer of preparation, please be sure we have both your correct phone numbers and your correct emails.  If your family has separate emails for various individuals, please be sure we have them all.
